Northwest Shoals Community College

Athletics are back at Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC)! The College announced in fall of 2021 the reinstatement of athletic programs at the College. In fall of 2022, NWSCC brought back baseball and softball teams. In fall of 2023, NWSCC added men’s and women’s cross country teams. Most recently, NWSCC added Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Golf, and Women’s Flag Football. Athletic competition is an important part of the overall education of students, and NWSCC is committed to provide that opportunity to our community and area high school student athletes. 

NWSCC is currently a member of the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) and will compete against various opponents within the ACCC, National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
